Strange Dreams

Haven't been able to sleep soundly these past 2 days. Kept on having some weird dreams, 3 to be exact. All 3 of them brought me back to sabah, and every time i wake up, my heart would beat like 1800 bps.

In the 1st dream, i was in a warehouse which i dunno where the location's at, but since William was there, i assumed that it is at sabah. Can't remember well about the 1st dream except that it involves a lot of hiding in drums, running in stair case and so on. Kinda like the final fighting scene in some of the more retro HK films.

That was just yesterday morning. I went to bed at 4am, woke up to that dream and found out that it's only 5am and it's raining heavily outside. Rain water pouring on my sis-in-law's car was so loud because the awning outside was blown away by the previous heavy down pour and nothing's shielding the car.

Ok, got back to sleep shortly after that and found myself in sabah again (in my dream). This time, it's a little more realistic as i was in my house back in sabah. All my house mates were there including some other friends who came over to study (it's kinda like a big revision group). Minding my own business, i went upstairs, open my door just to find that there're a group of strangers studying, doin projects and so on in my room. I went to ask my house mates WTF is that, and he said: "aiya, you have ppl over to study all the time, what's wrong with us having a few ppl this time?". Feeling pissed, i went out to grab a meal hoping they would be gone when i'm back. Only then that i realised that my wallet's upstairs in my room. I went back to my room and found that these people in my room is distributing the money in my wallet. At that point of the time, i raised my fist and was gonna hit someone in the face but i woke up to find that it's 7.30am already.

Having 2 weird dreams within 4 hours~~~~phew~~~~that's a first for me~~~~

Ok, it's 6 something in the morning, and i'm wide awake blogging. If you've guessed that "CV probably have another weird dream", then you're absolutely correct. I had my 3rd weird dream and this time, it's a lot more realistic than the previous 1, because everyone and every places in the dream were so real.

It's about me and my friends playing futsal at yayasan sabah. Then suddenly one of my friends said "hey, tomoro maths paper no need study?" I was like "haiya, relax la, still got time." Then after a while, all of them went to eat Bak Kut Teh while i was still playing futsal. They told me that after the meal, they would go back study straight away. After a while, i rode of in my bicycle (yes, a bicycle that i haven't rode in years). I went around the area before arriving at a Bak Kut Teh shop which looks exactly the the one under the bridge back in klang. Eric and William were there eating and they ask me to join them. I asked eric to tapau for me (=.=") and then while goin out from the shop, i met yong sing. He told me he don't have enough time to study already. Calmly, i told him "don't worry, i already plan pien pien liao, tomoro's paper is at 11am, later 11pm i'm gonna start study and still have 12 hours to study". After saying that, i found myself lying on my bed in my room and it's 6 something in the morning......

Still feeling very weird about all these dreams~~~~~

Answer This

Anyone who knew me surely are aware that i am an atheist, or at least i claim to be. For those of you are curious about why i don't believe in god, may be you should reconstruct your question in to : "why should i believe in god?"

So that i can go to heaven when i'm dead?
You have to believe in heaven in the 1st place in order to believe in god, and i don't believe in heaven.

So that i can be a better person with god's guidance?
How many of you knows someone who is religious yet they aren't the best kind of person you'd like to be around with because of their attitude and how many of your friends are not religious at all yet they're a joy to be around with?

So that i can/will do good deeds?
I am a non-believer yet i can do good deeds. If you're doing good deeds just because you're afraid of being judged and punished by your god, then there's something seriously wrong with you.

The purpose of this post is not to offend anyone, it's just to voice out my opinion.....

let's play a game called spot the "BAK KUT TEH". Ready, set, GO!!!!!!

How? Can't find eh? Ok, 1st and foremost, i really must give a thumbs up to the gomen for making this list. BUT.......gimme a minute. Let me see how many of these food have i tasted, seen or heard of. 1,2,3,4..........20......30.....40,41,42,43,44. That's the number of food that i've tasted, seen or heard of out of the 100 in the list.

OK, here's a simple question. Why is Air Kelapa which is something u can find anywhere in the tropical area is included in the list but the "to-die-for-mother-or-all-food-which-can-be-served-as-breakfast-lunch-or-dinner" which is THE BAK KUT TEH not included? Okay, may be i am over reacting on this but, can u blame me? I'm from Klang you know?

Another question, what's the point of making a list if u can't even make it right?

Here's a pic of the ORIGINAL KLANG BAK KUT TEH that i took last December

Fragrant Spirit Of Life - Sam & Esther

A friend of mine asked me to watch this video just a while ago. I am literally speechless and stunned. Please spare some time to view this video.

I teared my eyes looking at how the elder sister took care of her siblings even though she's just 8 years old herself.

Words: Flower or Poison?

The greatest pain one person can inflict on another is neither by punching with fist nor kicking with leg, but by words coming from our mouth. A wounded heart heals much much slower than a wounded body.

Think before we say something regarding other people. Not everyone is as lucky as we are. Not everyone has the privilege of choosing between good, better and best; but are forced to choose between bad, worse and worst. So do not be judgemental for whatever choices they made so long as they do not bring any harm to you and the people you care about.

You might feel superior or comfortable when bad-mouthing or spreading rumours about someone, but before doing that, please be reminded that the other person is also a human being just like us. They would laugh when they're happy, cry when they're sad and bleed when they're injured.

If you think that you're friend is heading a wrong direction or having some problems, the 1st thing you're suppose to do is to talk to that friend to see if there's anyway to help. May be things aren't as they appeared to be.

God blessed us with 2 things that other living being doesn't have which is the ability to think logically and the ability to speak. Use them wisely.

People who are judgemental are bound to be judged

A bit of everything

Science and maths in BM
Ok, so that's something new, at least right at the moment. Yet it's something that isn't that unexpected, especially by the current government. A few weeks back, even Anwar stood up and agreed on the matter. Somehow disappointed with his decision.

A few years back while i was just a secondary student, the government changed the medium in teaching science and maths from BM to English and at that time, i thought to myself : "wow, Malaysia finally has some improvement in the education area and we can at least catch up a bit by learning these subjects in English". Prior to that, i don't even know what the hell is an "apparatus", seriously.

The government think that they can make the people more patriotic by making them to learn in the national language. But in my point of view, if the students continue to learn science and maths in BM, they would be left out from the rest of the world especially those who are weak in English. So at the end of the day, more and more people would hate BM because they would think that BM is the reason that had slowed them down.

One of my friend just told me that it's not the problem with the medium they use, it's the teaching method they use. Couldn't have agree more on this. Anyone of you who have been through Malaysia's education system must have notice the flaw in it. But nevertheless, it would take them years to improve on that, but we might have the upper hand if English is used as a medium in teaching Science and Maths.

New Environment
Same state, same university, same car, same house, same room. So what's so different? For the passed year, I've been sharing room with 2 other friend - jun hui and kam foo. It was great all the while but 3 person sharing a not-so-big room would make things a little crowded. So at the end of last semester, Kam Foo decided to move out together with his course mates (he was the only non-engineering student in the whole house) leaving me and jun hui to share a room which i can describe by "spacious for 2 but crowded for 3". Well, the rent has gone up because of that too, but still, happier than ever.

New Lens
Recently, my bro bought me a 2nd hand 55-200mm nikkor lens which I'm very grateful of. Haven't got the chance to try it out though. Hopefully there will be trips in the coming months. Wanna make full use of the lens so i won't be wasting my bro's money.

Below is a photo i've taken on my trip to Bukit Cahaya at the begining of sem break. Took quite a few photos that day but only a few turned out nice. Didn't get the lighting i want because it was hazy the whole day.

Another reason to flee to other countries?

Encouraging students to take max of 10 subjects in SPM, great idea. Limiting the max number of subjects student can take in SPM, stupidest idea ever. Another great example of chopping the toes to fit the shoe. Great job in worsening the country's already beaten-up education system. Fantastic

What My Name Means (Numerology)

You entered: ANG CHUNG VI

There are 10 letters in your name.
Those 10 letters total to 52
There are 3 vowels and 7 consonants in your name.

Your number is: 7

The characteristics of #7 are: Analysis, understanding, knowledge, awareness, studious, meditating.

The expression or destiny for #7:
Thought, analysis, introspection, and seclusiveness are all characteristics of the expression number 7. The hallmark of the number 7 is a good mind, and especially good at searching out and finding the truth. You are so very capable of analyzing, judging and discriminating, that very little ever escapes your observation and deep understanding. You are the type of person that can really get involved in a search for wisdom or hidden truths, often becoming an authority on whatever it is your are focusing on. This can easily be of a technical or scientific nature, or it may be religious or occult, it matters very little, you pursue knowledge with the same sort of vigor. You can make a very fine teacher, or because of a natural inclination toward the spiritual, you may become deeply emerged in religious affairs or even psychic explorations. You tend to operate on a rather different wavelength, and many of your friends may not really know you very well. The positive aspects of the 7 expression are that you can be a true perfectionist in a very positive sense of the word. You are very logical, and usually employ a quite rational approach to most things you do. You can be so rational at times that you almost seem to lack emotion, and when you are faced with an emotional situation, you may have a bit of a problem coping with it. You have excellent capabilities to study and learn really deep and difficult subjects, and to search for hidden fundamentals. At full maturity you are likely to be a very peaceful and poised individual.

If there is an over supply of the number 7 in your makeup, the negative aspects of the number may be apparent. The chief negative of 7 relates to the limited degree of trust that you may have in people. A tendency to be highly introverted can make you a bit on the self-centered side, certainly very much self-contained . Because of this, you are not very adaptable, and you may tend to be overly critical and intolerant. You really like to work alone, at your own pace and in your own way. You neither show or understand emotions very well.

Your Soul Urge number is: 4

A Soul Urge number of 4 means:
With the Soul Urge or Motivation number of 4 you are likely to strive for a stable life. You tend to follow a rather orderly pattern and systematic approach in your endeavors. You have an inner desire to serve others in a methodical and diligent manner. You want to be in solid, conventional, and well-regulated activities, and you are somewhat disturbed by innovation and erratic or sudden changes. Excellent at organizing, systematizing, and managing, you have a way of establishing order and maintaining it. You are responsible, reliable and in the final analysis, practical. Highly analytical, you can see your way through all sorts of situations and generally have a clear understanding of the issues. You are a very honest, sincere, and conscientious individual.

The negative side of the 4 is rigid, stubborn and somewhat narrow-minded. There is a tendency to hide feelings, or to really not be aware of real feelings. Avoid being too rigid and stubborn in your thinking, and try to always see the big picture rather than becoming to involved with the detail. Don't be afraid to take a chance once in awhile.

Your Inner Dream number is: 3

An Inner Dream number of 3 means:
You dream of artistic expression; writing, painting, music. You would seek to more freely express your inner feeling and obtain more enjoyment from life. You also dream of being more popular, likable, and appreciated.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've decided to post this since i'm operating at a different wavelength and many of my friends may not really know me very well. Somehow i feel quite proud about that statement, it makes me feel special in some kinda strange way. That's the way i am - strange.

Anyway, i find this analysis quite accurate. Try it yourself here if u think so too. Post a comment if u find it not so true. Thank you for reading the whole passage eventhough it's quite long (for me). It shows that you're interested in knowing me better.

P.S: uploaded more photos to my Beginner's Photography Attempts Album 1 which you all can find at the right side bar. How bout a preview?

R.I.P. Dear Dear Dr. Harimi

Was planning to post something here after abandoning my blog for more than a month. Just did not foresee that i would be blogging about another death in my blog.

Dr. Harimi Mohamad, a lecturer whom i deeply respect, had passed away last night suffering from terminal cancer. We were all aware that he was getting very sick since he last taught us last semester.

Seniors who are studying under him this semester told us that his condition had gotten so worse that he would sometimes just stare blank at the class (may be it was the effect of his treatment). He was frequently seen accompanied by his wife and daughter this semester because of this. His wife would help him to move around the school. Really glad that he can spend his final days with his love ones.

Attended his funeral this afternoon after the ceremony had ended (not sure if there's any). A few other lecturers were there too, paying their final respect. He was survived by his wife, son, daughter and sister who teaches us Numerical Method in place of him.

Farewell Dr. Harimi - my mentor, my teacher, my friend.
